1. Day 9 on the water : 8/28 Refuge Cove Marina to Roscoe Bay 8 miles (anchored, not stern tied)
2. 8/29 Roscoe Bay all day (hike, lake swim & paddle board)
3. 8/30 Roscoe Bay to Gorge Harbor Marina 26 miles (trash, WiFi, shore power, water & showers)
4. 8/31 Gorge Harbor to Cortez Harbor 10 miles (stormy night @ anchor)
5. 9/1 Cortez Harbor to Grace Harbor 9 miles (stern tie) (paddle board)
6. 9/2 Grace Harbor to Beach Garden Marina 33 miles (fuel @ Lund, showers @ Beach)
7. 9/3 Beach Garden to Secret Cove 32 miles ( fuel, showers, laundry & water)
8. 9/4 Secret Cove all day visiting friends
9. 9/5 Secret Cove cross SOG avoid WG to Montague Harbor (via Gabriola Passage) 60 miles
10. 9/6 Montague to Ganges Marina 9 miles
11. 9/7 Weather hold at Ganges
12. 9/8 Ganges to Bellingham 55 miles

Notes:

• We fueled at Lund but continued to Beach Gardens Marina just south of Powell River because Lund was pretty full. The BGM dock staff gone after 8/31 but BGM accept off season guest moorage. No fuel dock after 8/31. BGM’s resort is due for remodeling 2-3 years. Long walk uphill to resort front desk but nice bathroom+shower, restaurant & liquor shop all near dock. 3 star rating by us.
• 9/5 Tried finding a spot at Wallace Islands after crossing SOG from Secret Cove. No luck! As usual it was packed - both Princess Cove and Conover Cove. One of these days! Reminds me of a Yogi B saying, “nobody goes there anymore it’s too crowded!”

Trip totals : Approximately 510 miles traveled with half of those miles done on just 4 days. 16 different locations in 20 nights on water. 3 locations new to us - Campbell River, Cortes Bay and Beach Gardens. Eleven locations without shore power. Two locations stern tie at anchor, 5 locations anchor only and 9 locations at docks. Four meals @ restaurants with 56 meals served on boat. Five diesel fuel partial refills with about 275 gallons used. Six fresh water refills. Four timed passes - Dodds Narrows, Surge Narrows, Hole In The Wall and Gabriolla Passage.
