A beautiful weekend...

... was had here in the Pacific NW. Now that I have a Ranger Tug, this has been my first opportunity to do some winter cruising. It doesn't happen often, but when the weather cooperates, the San Juan's are a great place to visit, even in the winter. We went up to Rosario resort and stayed the night on the boat, went for a short hike, and utilized the indoor pool and hot tub. I love having a year-around boat.

I drove up from our Calif. home to visit the boat in Anacortes, she sits in the yard with the engine in pieces awaiting final repairs. I looked out at the water and wished I could be out cruising, so flat and calm just cold, but that's why we have heaters!

Yep... the last few days have been glorious for sure. When the weather is like this, the 'call' can be irresistible... 😉 On clear days the Olympic Mountains seem to be touching heaven... 🙂
