I have a Cutwater C28. Looking into the A/C outlet at the companion seat I noticed I could see sunlight through the hull as well as the deck/hull joint. It looks like my ductwork or shroud/scoop behind the outlet has partially separated. I don't know how to get at it. I studied the nice wood framed outlet with vanes and it appears to be glued in place. Has anyone else had this issue? I need all the A/C I can get and apparently I am helping cool the area between hull and deck! Thanks for any thoughts or experience. Brad

I had the same issue with my Cutwater. I pulled the port bulkhead panel off in the cave and the forward bulkhead. The panels with the monkey fur it takes about 10 minutes with a screw gun. Once the panels are removed it gives you access to the duct work. There is a hose attached to a collector box large opening at the step a smaller going to the V berth area. The hose came off mine, it was held on with nylon tie strap, fell off. It was cooling everything but where I wanted it to cool. Putting the hose back on and securing it is PIA but what a difference it makes for cooling. Before I repaired it the hull would condensate where the air unit is located. Good luck!
