We had two fun tug encounters while out enjoying beautiful South Sound over the weekend. Check out the photos of "Smitty", a tug that is almost a toy that was launching at Swantown for Olympia's Wooden Boat Festival (on our website at www.bioaquatics.com/hokukai). On returning from our weekend, an older (1994) 21 ft. Ranger Tug was at the launch ramp. Called the Wanderer, the owner purchased it a year ago and is refurbishing it. Still has the Ranger Tugs,Kent, Wa. sign on it.Hope to see it at the rendezvous, our cameras were packed at this point, so no photos taken of it. Happy spring tugging!
