Hello all. Brand new to the forum. My husband and I are looking at a new R29. We will be doing a test next week to see if the R29 will fit in our "dry moorage" marina and if all goes well we will be getting our new boat in June.
My question to any owners is regarding space for a freezer. We currently do multi-week excursions on our existing boat, a Skagit Orca 27XLC and one thing that would make the extended trips even better is a freezer. As we look at moving to the R29 I'm wondering if anyone has experience with installing a freezer and where on the boat it was put. We wondered if the storage spaces in the cockpit are large enough for a portable freezer and if there is a power source there. It's difficult to tell from the pictures we have seen on the web, and it's not something we looked at when we saw the boat at the Vancouver boat show.
Anxiously awaiting the boat test, so we can stop "dreaming" and get planning.
Cheers all
Kathy
