How does one recommissioning the AC system in the spring ? I am concerned the circulating pump may not draw the water thru the system.
 
I never has an issue. If there is an air lock I have loosened the strainer lid and let the air escape. If that does not work close the seacock, remove the strainer cover and as the pump is running shoot water from a hose into the intake side of the strainer. Once it starts sucking water open the sea cock and let the water run up and simultaneously put the cover on and tighten.
