Hi, I have a 2025 R27 with the Velair AC. It is not cooling like it did last year. It is blowing somewhat coolish air but not like it should. I have it set on 64 but the panel has been reading consistently in the low 90,s. The control panel is located beside the battery switches. It is pumping water and runs continuously. I do live in south Georgia and it has been really hot hear the last month but no hotter than last summer and the ac did fine. In fact, I was really surprised how cool it kept the cabin last summer. Any thoughts as to why it's not keeping up this year?

Check your raw intake water strainer……you should get a good discharging water flow out the side……

Yeah, I clean that every couple weeks. I made a way to flush clean water thru the lines with a hose attached to a spare strainer also. It's clean as can be.

Ours is a 2025 R27 with the Velair AC as well. Did you do the yearly maintenance as mentioned in the manual (section 5.2) ? Oddly, the manual for the Velair does not cover flushing the unit with a solution to remove any build up of marine scaling where as other models do (as installed on previous Ranger models). I installed separate ports before the pump where I can put the 'Barnacle Buster' solution in the lines and let it soak as per directions. If the heat exchanger unit has any film or build up this will affect performance. If it gets really bad, you will get a High Pressure lockout code. Also... might be a shot in the dark, but one time I thought the unit wasn't cooling as much as usual and it turned out that the it was set on 'low' fan speed via the app. Switching this over to High (two fan symbols on the display) solved the problem 🙂 Hope this helps.
