Accessing Forward Bilge Pump

What is the process to access the forward bilge pump in order to inspect and replace on a 2015 R29?

I have a 2018 R29 - I am pretty sure that your 2015 is the same style boat. On my boat, the "Forward" bilge pump is just ahead of the engine. I can see mine.... I think I can reach down and touch it, albeit with a lot of stretching and reaching.

Is that the pump you are talking about?

Yes that is the one. I can just touch a wire and that is about it.

I cut the sole/floor on my R25 so it is just covered by the wood floor panel. This eases the task of changing the raw impeller and pump. The cut in not visible.

There are many R25 who have done the same with several published photos.

Ethan, I bought some extensions for my electric drill to be able to unscrew the screws that’s hold down the bilge pump. I found them at Harbor Freight and it made taking the pump out to clean , inspect and or replace.
