I don't think any Ranger Tugs are equipped with Furuno, but no doubt some of you have experience with the equipment.
But, I am an Active Captain member and I'm quite interested in how their data is being integrated into various manufacturer's offerings. I follow Active Captain developers, Steve and Karen (and their two golden labs) on their blog Taking Paws. Today's update features a video taken at the Miami Boat Show, demonstrating the beta version of MaxSea/Furuno Time Zero integration of their crowd-sourced data.
This thing is amazingly fast, with virtually no time required to redraw (hence "Time Zero") either raster or vector charts. Pretty impressive.

cheers
