ActiveCaptain/Chartplotter Question

Greetings,
I have been trying unsuccessfully to see ActiveCaptain and my chart display together on my Gamin 7612. I have updated the software, get all green checks on the ActiveCaptain display on the Garmin but if the SD card is in it will display all the AC stuff. If I pop the card out I can see the charts. But no matter what I have tried I cannot get both on the same screen. Is the 7612 too old to work effectively with ActiveCaptain or am I missing something in the setup?
Wi Fi is good, I have an iPad and iPhone that both talk to it and have tried 3 SD cards.

I think you have two vertical slots for SD cards. I have my charts in the left slot and the Active Captain card in the right. That seems to work but I periodically get an erroneous error message when I link with my iPad that says there is no Active Captain card installed, when in fact there is. But it usually seems to resolve and work ok. You may be using internal charts and have an empty slot. Either way, I would suggest putting the AC card in the right slot if you haven’t already.
