adding a fan to helm station on 21 EC

Would like to add a 12v fan to helm station on my 2013 21 EC. See the 12v outlet, but would like to wire permanently. Is there a spare fuse to use? Where do I connect the fan power supply? Does it need an in line fuse? Any help appreciated. Thx

I wired mine to the power / fuse panel and used a inline fuse works good on the foggy mornings as a defogger, unit can be turned around to use as a cooling fan. I purchased on line and wanted one with a switch, can't remember what it cost but about $30

Hi, I use an Italian Caframo battery operated 737 MiniMax fan on my 21EC. Very quiet. Runs for 300 hours on 4 D cell batteries. Can move it around and stores easily. Ideal while at the helm or in the bed or sitting in the rear. No wires. Brought on internet. Very happy.
