Can anyone help me with what engine bracket i need for my Suzuki 9.9 kicker motor? I saw this post and hoped i could get advice. I have emailed the factory 3 times but there seems to still be nobody available to advise me.

What boat do you have? A 27 Classic or a 27OB? My dealer told me my 27OB had everything in place to add a bracket and he could do it anytime I wanted to add the kicker. If you look at Arizona Trailer R-23's photo album, he has good pics of a kicker mount. He said he got it through the factory, it's made by Bolton. I believe this was the mount used in 2016-17 R-23 model years because they changed it for our 2018. I'm not sure if it will work on the R-27 swim platform.

I have a classic (i believe) with a Suzuki 300 outboard. My local engine dealer is asking about the bracket as he has had no luck getting anyone to respond from the factory either.

If you have the 300 OB, you don't have the classic. The classic is the inboard diesel.
