Additional Cabin Speakers

Could anyone recommend small, square, great sounding surface mount stereo speakers? I have a 2015 R-21EC and the factory placement of the cabin speakers makes it difficult to hear while underway. I am considering adding two small speakers onto the bottom of the shelves above the cabin windshield facing aft. This would give the sound a clear shot right at ear level. I think something about 3 inches square would work for that placement. Has anyone added something like this? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
