I have a 2012 cutwater 28.
I need to wire in a couple of 12v feeds into the helm station for a laptop/raspberry pi solution and a new wifi POE injector but I cant see the best location to do this as there isnt any space left on the blue sea switch panels. ( i am trying to avoid cables hanging over the helm to the 12v cigarette adapter socket. )

what are others doing? installing a new blue seas switch panel with more switches?
wiring in to the existing blue seas accessory switch - perhaps the one which has the thruster remote power?
taking a feed off a bus bar I havent discovered yet?

ideas welcome

I am not familiar with the C-28, but there may be a fuse block behind the helm. If there is not an open fuse you could always take power from the feed and then install an in line type fuse.

I agree with knotflying, you can pull power from the fuse block behind the helm as he suggested. As long as the house battery switch is on that fuse block will have power going to it.
