Aft Bilge Not Cycling

My aft bilge pump on my 31CB isn’t turning on every two minutes like it was. I noticed two 7.5 fuses were blown so I replaced them. Pump works in manual but it still isn’t cycling. Is there something I can clean in the pump before I replace the whole thing?
 
Did it work previously? What year boat? Mine is 2017R29 and it was not designed to cycle. I believe it was implemented on newer boats several years later.
 
I, too, am having problems with my aft bilge pump. My 2021 RT R29 S had it's shaft seal repacked. During the process, water leaked into the engine compartment (as usual), but bilge didn't start. Mechanic went to helm and clicked manual switch, nothing. Back to engine, shook some wires, and it started. Had a slip neighbor (who's a certified boat mechanic) replace a brand new Rule pump, all marine grade butt splices and shrink wrap. Worked like a champ until, maybe a couple days later, noticed we weren't hearing the auto cycling. Pump was dead auto and manual. Bought a 2nd brand new pump but rewired the old, new pump first. Worked great for about a day. Next day took an hour cruise and pump wasn't working, auto or manual. Heading back today to replace with another. Oh, all fuses good and volt meter shows power to both auto and manual. Anyone with issues like this? Thanks!
 
As a side note, I've had to replace the aft bilge on our C28 a few times and switched to using deutsch connectors to make the swap a lot easier.
 
I've replaced the aft bilge pump like 5 times on my R31. They are not reliable. I've experienced all combinations of only working in manual mode, only in automatic, as well as blown fuses. I now keep a spare onboard.

The automatic sensing on this pump is genius in theory, but a regular old float just work better. Floats getting stuck seem to happen far less frequent than these pumps electronic sensing going haywire. However I don't know where a float would go on a 31, the spot is very tight for the pump.
