How do you use the AC when on trailer in campgrounds?

Hello,

The only way to use the air conditioning is to run water through it. This doesn't work too well without being in the water. Maybe a portable while on the trailer?

Thank you,

Yep, But was wondering if anyone has figured our how to do this! Boat Camping is a great idea, but the Wife really likes her AC...

Thanks Al! Will let y'all know how it works

When we travel I have used a 5,000 BTU window unit. I set it at the bottom of the cabin door with cut noodle floats around the sides and bottom and then a 2X4 at the raer in the cockpit. I plug it into he outlet of the cave and then run the privacy canvas down to the top pf the AC. Works like a charm when sleeping. We do not use it during daytime, but you could. It is a bit of a pain to climb over.
Capstu has done a setup with a window unit in one of his overhead hatches in the galley. It works pretty well.

Thanks All, I will report my "Boat Campground" Adventures...Looking forward to hitting the Campgrounds and many, many aquatic Campground anchorages..Purchased her in NOVEMBER...It's been a long cold winter...

How the tugs material standing up to those temperatures in regard to expansion and shrinkage. This must be really be really a torture on Fiberglas sealants and so forth possibly requiring extra caution before going back into the water
