We have a 2011 27' ranger tug that we recently purchased. The air conditioner works but there is a very loud vibration coming from the area of the condenser. (Port side of v-berth). We need to know if there is a way to gain access to determine what is causing this vibration. Any help would be appreciated.

There are two ways to gain access to the air conditioner. The easiest access is at the bulkhead in the port v-berth side. Pop the top off those little white buttons and remove the screws and the panel can be removed. The other access is via the cave. Go in head first. At the end is a panel covered with monkey fur. There are screws holding that in. Remove those screws and you can remove the panel. This will get you up close and personal with the unit from the opposite end.

Thank you for the response. Will let you know how It goes.

If or when you take the panel off, that Mike mentioned, you can add some appropriate insulation to the back side of the panel. The added insulation makes a big difference in the muffling of condenser noise.
