We have had a 2015 R27 for a few weeks and love it. Still learning all the systems. My question is this: can one run the airconditioner with the inverter when under way? I know we cannot run the heat underway, or so we were told, but how about Air?

The inverter on your boat is most likely 1500 watts. It is not capable of running the air conditioning. About the only thing the inverter can power is the microwave.

If your boat is equipped with a generator, it can run the air conditioning underway. Some owners have reported that the generator thru-hull does not take in sufficient cooling water at higher cruising speeds. I have run my air conditioning underway only once via the generator. It performed fine at 8.5 mph.

You do have heat underway via the Heater Craft heater that uses a fan to blow air over a heater core through which hot engine coolant is circulated, just the heater in your car. The control for it is near the AC Power rotary select switch on the wall below the throttle at the helm.
