AirHead vent location

A question for you folks that are happy with your AirHead installations: Where do you vent the thing? I thought it went straight up through the overhead, and was frankly a little worried about the close proximity to the overhead hatch. AirHead says that if the head is forward of the cockpit, it should be vented through the side or through the transom. What say you?

I vented mine through the stern on the starboard side of the door to the step platform. PM me with your e-mail and I will send pictures.

Hello!
I just completed an airhead installation. Many have vented out the transom, using the old black water tank vent or pump out. I vented it out the side wall forward of the window. The outside vent cover is angled aft about 15-20 degrees. I have not had the boat in the water yet to try it out. Still waiting for winter to go away.....
