Does anyone know where the AIS unit is located and the location of the 5 amp fuse?

The factory location of the AIS is just behind the helm. The fuse is also located at the helm fuse block in the same compartment.

If the AIS is not receiving I'd check the device list on the chart plotter to first see if the AIS is showing up on the NMEA backbone or not. Also, make sure your VHF radio is on. The signal for the AIS comes through the VHF antenna.
