2. The size of our group has increased to where we need to reserve the entire venue to accomodate our group
3. Increased demand for venues due to backlog during the pandemic
Registration does not include moorage in Seldovia Harbor. We will reserve your space, but all moorage fees will need to be paid directly to the harbormaster on arrival.
Seldovia Harbor
Seldovia has a well managed and modern harbor with all of the amenities you'll need for an enjoyable weekend stay. The Harbormaster is holding space to keep our group together. Moorage is $1.15/ft. Shore power (30amp) is an additional $19.89/night. We will arrange a slip for you as part of registration, but moorage is not included in the registration fee. All fees for moorage will be paid directly to the harbormaster.
Getting to Seldovia
Seldovia is only acccessible by water and is located approximately 15 nautical miles across Kachemak Bay from the road system in Homer, AK. For those trailering their boats, Homer has modern launch ramp with plenty of long term parking located nearby. We will have a flotilla of boats departing the Homer harbor on Thursday afternoon. Depending on your boat model and conditions, you should allow at least 2 hours to make the crossing. If you are traveling without your boat the Seldovia Bay Ferry has daily departures from Homer.
About Seldovia
Seldovia is often described by visitors as one of the most beautiful places in the world. Tranquil waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks frame a unique and charming community that is home to some 410+ year-round residents.
Seldovia's laid-back vibe is evident from the moment you arrive. If you're looking for a tourist-trap city with a million T-shirt shops, traffic and lame souvenirs, Seldovia is not your place. There are no traffic lights, shopping malls, movie theaters or bowling alleys. But if you're looking for a quaint, unique city with lots of history and authentic Alaska charm, you've come to the right place.
PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! - We have a very liberal cancellation policy. It really helps us to plan with our catering venues and the harbor.
