Had my house power socket short and melt. My white wire and ground wire were fused together. Upon removing the plug, it looked like too much bare wire was exposed sticking from the socket. I believe over time the wires vibrated until contact. This is 2014 R31CB. I also know a 2013 R31CB, same thing happened 2 or 3 years ago. Last plug-in was at a marina 3 weeks ago in MyrtleBeach. Now in Sanford, FL . Wondering why the breaker on the power pedestal at the marine didn't trip before my wires melted. The ELCI tripped and did its job to protect the the rest of the boat.
