Now that I've moved my 27 to Florida I'm realizing for summer cruising, AC on the hook and even when moving, is essential. At least my wife says so. So I need to instal a generator.
I've read mixed reports on the Mase 2.7, regarding reliability, noise, customer service and susceptibility to blockage - a real concern in my cruising area with seagrass floating everywhere. So I'm wondering if any of you have experience with other types of installed generator (I don't think I want to go with a gas powered portable unit). Next Generation has an interesting model that runs at 2800 rpm but, with a length of 28 inches, it may not fit.
