Alternator belt D3

Hello all,
Has anyone changed out the alternator belt on an R25 w/ a D3? if so , any advice? Planning to do water pump belt and impeller at the same time.

I had that done on my R27 last year. In the end I had it done professionally as trying to do those and change out the alternator myself was impossible. It was like trying to fix an engine brought a mail slot.

In the end I had the whole engine taken out. I replaced the water pump, the alternator, belts and engine mounts at the same time.

I am contemplating having the timing belt on my R-27 D3-200 performed over the winter. If you do not mind me asking what was the cost of that work with pulling the engine. Thanks. Trying to plan accordingly.
 
I just replaced the starter, alternator and the belt. Not a job for the feint of heart, you have to remove half the engine just to get to the parts. Very poor design by Volvo.
It took a pro over 20 hours to replace the parts.
