This seems like a clean way to install a anker powerbank into the boat to give more power on the hook. automatically detects available power

 
One of those might be in my future.
 
If I had to guess, I bet that is just a DC to DC Voltage Booster. I have had great luck with a much cheaper version in my van from Amazon. I like that it is fully potted, and it charges my power bank about 4x faster. Lots of electrical considerations are needed to install one of these: alternator size, fusing, wire gauge sizing, location, heat.
This is not a recommendation just an observation. I know that this unit is not an ABYC certified component.
