HI: We will be taking our first trip this week with Miss Betty. We are leaving Port Angeles on Thursday and heading to Anacortes for 2 or 3 nights. We will be at the Cap Sante Marina.
Let us know if anyone will be there. It would be nice to meet up with others.

I’ll be taking Daisy out of Cap Sante on Thursday for a couple days.
Going up to Sucia for a getaway. I meet another Tugnut up there.
If you want to join us, do.
We plan to tie onto the long motoring lines. You can be close enough to chat between boats but not close enough to violate social distance rules.

Thank you for the invite. Since this is our first trip out. We are going to stay at a marina. If you are back on Saturday let us know. We should be in C40.

We store our boat at Twin Bridges, very close to Cap Santa. Not sure if we will get out this weekend or not. Ernie not sure what you mean by long motoring lines at Sucia (mooring)? Is that in Fossil Bay?

Echo Bay has two linear mooring systems.

Yeah
That’s it
Thanks

I thought the overnight, mooring lines and buoys were still closed at the state parks?

They were/are thru May 31. We were at Sucia in Fossil Bay over a long Mothers Day weekend anchored up.
Many people at the dock and on mooring buoys. Day use only, but also stayed on them at night. The Park Ranger came during the day and left by 5 pm each day so he saw people using them as Day Use Only. Ranger was not there at night so no harm, no foul, I guess.
People were great on the island as we hiked, we all kept our distance.

Monday, June 1, San Juan Island Marine parks all have the go-ahead for actual, official mooring for transient boaters. On island camping not approved yet.

Here's the listed put out on 5/29/2020:

I am assuming your comment means on June 1 we can overnight at the dock just no tent camping on the island.
