Just joined the Ranger Tug family. Bought a 2011 R29 yesterday. I'm taking delivery in a couple of weeks after survey's and sea trial. I was wondering if any of you had a contact at one of the Anacortes marinas for a slip assignment? I know I can look them up online but thought this might be a shortcut.

Thanks,

Jon Arnold

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the TugNuts and the Ranger Tug family. There are a few choices in Anacortes. Cap Sante Marina https://www.portofanacortes.com/visit/the-marina formerly Cap Sante Boat Haven is a great spot to be for the summer. Slips are in high demand, so you may not be able to get one there right away. Anacortes Marina http://www.anacortesmarina.com/ is the next closest marina to downtown. They do not like to do short term leases though. If you are looking for annual space they may be a possibility. Out near the ferry landing is Skyline Marina, you may be able to find short or long term rentals there.

Walldog,
Thanks for the info. There is a waiting list for Cap Sante. What would be your next choose? Anacortes Marina?

Jon

You could always try La Conner marina, that's where our boat is currently moored because of the waiting list in Anacortes.

You can also try the Oak Harbor marina, their rates are good and have seasonal specials. Also Coronet Bay by Deception Pass has good access to the Islands.
