I bought a Yuwei Wireless Back up camera system with an extra camera. It has a monitor that plugs into a cigarette lighter port and is portable. The idea was I would put one of the camera on my camper and one on my R25. The monitor would be in the truck for travel but I could bring it with me on the boat to monitor what's going on behind me whether it was monitoring traffic coming up behind me, fishing poles, or when I was backing into a slip. Ideally I'd like to run the wiring to one of the unused DC switches on the panel (assuming it's a 3 post switch) and toggle the power source between the 12 volt coming in from the trailer harness when towing, and from the house while underway. Does anyone know if the trailer lights are connected to any of the wiring buses on the starboard side or do they bypass all that and go straight to the lights on the transom? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
