Our 2023 R29S is stored in Anacortes, WA, but we live in Colorado, so we don't have access to it now.

Before we get back to the boat, I want to have a custom cutting board (heat resistant) cut to fit the top of the stove (the way there is one that fits in the sink) so that the stovetop space can act as counter space when the stove is not in use. In our camping trailer, the stove has a lid that folds down over it and the extra counter space provided is invaluable. We felt the loss of this extra space in our R29S and want to rectify that for next season.

But to do this, I need to know the exact measurements of the outside edge of the rail around the stove. What I need is the distance from the outer edge of the left rail to the outer edge of the right rail, and the distance from the outer edge of the front rail to the lip in the back.

I will then have one of these richlite heat-resistant cutting boards cut to the exact measurements - https://www.cuttingboards.net/1-2-brown ... ing-board/
And I will get the rubber feet and install them when we are on the boat so that they keep the cutting board from sliding while in motion - https://www.cuttingboards.net/rubber-fe ... escription

I obviously won't have the cutting board on when operating the stove or the oven, but I want the heat-resistant material so that I can put it back on top without worrying too much about if the stove/oven has completely cooled down.

The stove we have is the Force 10 2 burner model number F63256.

Alternatively, if you know of a product available to do this so I don't have to have it custom cut, please let me know.

Thanks!

I know it is difficult for you when you are long distance, yet I would measure it yourself. If it was an exact fit, there are brackets in the way, etc.
just this week, I put a white cutting board on my stove from Amazon, $20 cut on table saw.

When I have a question like this I typically call the component manufacturer directly. Most of the FM vendors have decent customer service departments and are very helpful. I have had a couple of calls to Force 10 and always got the answers I needed.

Great idea to maximize counter space! I recommend contacting the boat manufacturer or dealer for the exact stove dimensions. You might also find a universal stove cover or heat-resistant cutting board online, but custom fitting could be necessary for the best results. Good luck!
