We will be hosting another Gulf Coast Gathering for all our Ranger Tug friends and customers as well as our new Rosborough and C Dory , Eastern and Seaway friends and customers. I think its the 8th or 9th installment and hope to continue this tradition well into the future . You dont have to bring a boat to join us ,you can come see a bunch and speak with some knowledgeable folks as well.
The Water Street Hotel has blocked 5 rooms and slips for the weekend with reservations which will be reopened to the public 10/20 .Many of you know the facility, as that's where we do our hands on detailed delivery/orientations with our Tug customers.
There are always a number of events in town that weekend , so let us know if we can help you make arrangements .Sooner is better . There are more slips available around the downtown waterfront as well. Scipio Creek Marina has slips as well as the City Marina at Battery Park as well as Apalachicola Marina .
We will be back at Rivercrest,which is a great venue to gather . As always, day cruises to be determined according to weather and general consensus.
We provide lots of seafood ,fun , music , fun , camaraderie, fun .
We will be hoping to get some factory representation there if we can, and just have a typically great time in Apalachicola !

Hi Marc,

Hope all goes well with your annual gathering. I bought a good, used 2007 R21EC with about 80+ hrs. Had hoped to make the trip down for your gathering. However, our grand children's fall break fell later this year. They'll be here that weekend.

m/b next year Germany, their region, will have the fall break earlier in October, as in the past several years.

Alright , we are gearing up for the best rendezvous ever ! We have our famous suckling pig on the Cuban Microwave on Sat eve and some great BBQ for Fri. We have some great shrimp and oysters [lots of, as always]and some very talented Tugnuts playing some good music .Looks like a great mix of Tugs, C Dorys and all the customers we work hard for and truly appreciate!
If you are near by , come and join us .
You can PM me for info and Ill monitor a few times a day as we get set up .

Some nice local mullet [and red and white roe] jumped into my home smoker this evening . It will come along with me tomorrow . It has a real affinity for smoldering pecan wood.......
Looking forward to exercising the trailerable mobile new smoker rig with ribs chicken Fri. and a whole pig Sat!
I have some shucked Louisiana oysters [Apalachicola oysters are the best for eating raw, we have those too] earmarked for ceviche and omlettes as well . Ill bring home grown hot peppers and citrus ! Our gathering is a full meal deal !
