Last month’s photo contest was a ton of fun! It’s great to see what everyone has been up to. If this is the first time you’ve come across our Tugnuts photo contest, welcome aboard! We’re having a monthly photo contest in which the winner will receive TWO jackets, custom embroidered with the Ranger Tugs or Cutwater Boats logo.

For this month’s theme, we want to see your favorite Sunset (or sunrise) photos that you’ve captured of, on, or around your boat!

To enter the contest, all you need to do is send in a photo that fits this month’s theme: Sunsets/Sunrises.

Please send up to two photos, and a caption or comment to briandickhaut@rangertugs.com

I’ll upload the photos here to the thread as they come in!

We’ll be accepting entries until 5:00PM PST, April 25th 2019

Once the contest closes, we’ll hold a vote here at the factory and announce the winner in this thread!

A special thanks to John and Carol, for sending this photo of them, sporting the jackets they won in our December photo contest!

Getting us started this month is John M.

"Summer night, quiet anchorage, no other boats in sight, only the sound of the frogs starting up for their nightly serenade!
Enjoy"

From Bill and Marcia K.

"The sky was on fire as we ate dinner in the cockpit of our 2012 Ranger Tug R27 at anchor on the Ohio River at Mile Marker 583, 20 miles upstream from Louisville, Ky. We keep our tug 10 minutes from our home in Goshen, Ky at Tartan’s Landing Marina, Ohio River MM 587. On nice evenings, we sometimes take a short cruise and take or make dinner on the tug and eat while enjoying the weather and water view."

I'm amazed by everyone's photos!! It was a fun weekend at our Points North Seminar, and I'm really glad to see how many photos came in since we've announced the contest.

"Taken on our trip this past week to Suica. Photo is looking west at sunrise. I had my 'office' set up on the bluff/picnic table where I could get cell service and get some work done. Used the photo to harass by best friend suggesting I had the better office views for the day."
