I am planning to trailer my R 27 from Michigan to Coeur d'Alene Lake and The San Juan Islands in August & September. The National and State Parks conduct a thorough inspection by running hot water through the engine to eliminate any harmful aquatic species. Has anyone been through this inspection and should I be concerned about possible damage to my engine as a result?
Thanks, Ken

I would be far more concerned with the Quagga's attaching themselves INSIDE the engine.
They WILL attach to any hard surface.
The hot water used to clean/flush the engine will probably not be as hot as when the engine is running.
They love the moist spaces and the water passages in an engine block are ideal.
They can't survive salt water.
They can't survive in a dry area.
