Anyone remove the outboard from the dinghy and attach to the transom for towing or rough seas?
If so, how or pictures would be appreciated. Thank you.

We and most other owners keep the Dinghy motor mounted on the swim rail or boat cockpit rail. A quick search of this site for “dinghy motor mount” should give you plenty of examples.

We regularly move our kicker from it's motor mount to our dinghy. We have found a motor lift to be a critical item. Of course, the factory option swim platform railings are needed in this installation.

We have found this product to be ideal for our R-23. Easy to mount, removable, easy to stow, light weight, flexible and provides security during a critical transition: from boat to tender. It can lift 100#. Pictures are available in our photo album.

What motor lift did you purchase/install? Thanks. Any pictures of the lift mounted to you tug?
