Any C30 experience a loud intermittent warning tone coming from bridge and lasting 2-4 minutes then silence.
Not CO MONITORS,or high water bilge alert. Underway and also at slip on shore power
 
is this coming from your garmin screen? Any visual indicator to go with the sound? Could be AIS collision warning, obstacle warning, etc.
 
If the VHF is left on when the Garmin is shut off, after a few minutes the radio will complain that it doesn't have a GPS position

Maybe something in the electronics cabinet behind the helm? Can't imagine what, however. (Another very remote possibility might be DSC alert received, but that should be infrequent and show up on the VHF.)

Several alerts were underway however there were several at the slip tied up,shutdown, shore power connected with house batt on. No vhf no gps no ais on no engine running. Does anyone have sniffer(monitor) in engine bay, I can’t find one.
 
Could it be your high water alarm malfunctioning? I assume your bilge isn't filled with water, but there is red light on the High Water panel....and the noise is certainly obnoxious....

The high water alarm test was good, sound comes from the controller unit and does not appear to be the source. Sound is loudest on bridge and foward
 
I would first isolate it to chartplotter vs other. Does it only occur with the chartplotter on? If so, then I'd go through the Garmin manual, check every alert, and then turn all off.

If it's non-chartplotter, then I'd start removing fuses for.other things and see when it stops (if you're lucky and it does stop; could be hard-wired to battery, I suppose). That assumes there is some predictability and long enough duration.
 
You did not say what GPS unit you have on the bridge but most GPS's have numerous alarms that can drive you crazy when activated without your knowledge. Some of them, alarm clock, low voltage, GPS accuracy, arrival, anchor drag, off course, shallow water, deep water, water temp, fish, collision alarm to name a few. I would think you only have a few things that would deliver a alarm your radio and GPS/chart plotter or engine control. Good luck with the fix. Bob

The bridge has a garmin 7612 chart plotter. I will check tomorrow
 
If it's a 'horn' kind of noise, not entirely sure. However, if it can be attributed to a 'buzz'... even a higher-frequency 'buzz' - which sounds like an alarm... it could be (if equipped) a faulty relay?

I had a relay create quite the noise in my last non-RT boat! I wish I remember what it was for... but it was just a little 'box' under the helm that turned out to be a relay that was deemed non-essential, and I therefore unplugged the wires and it stopped. I did this whilst being on the phone with SeaRay tech, who told me what to do.

My poor passengers (Murphy's Law in that I had 8 souls on board for a nice cruise, 2 of whom were fairly scared of water, so I had to keep them from panicking! :shock: ) had to listen and stay out of my way as I went through my emergency procedure to be sure all were safe. :mrgreen:

Dunno if RT has similar relays... but it's a thought! 😀

Found source of aural steady high pitch tone. Fusion zone bow/bridge speakers were emitting the high pitch sound when stereo on. Aft zone and cabin zone were normal.lasts for minutes then would subside. Disabled zone on stereo control. Not sure of cause or fix just yet.
 
Pretty sure it’s a short or faulty relay with the stereo amplifier. Further testing to confirm or possibly a short in the speaker wires.
 
When aural tone is present removing 10 a fuse from amplifier silences the tone.
