This trip is on the agenda again for the 1st part of April. Leaving from Palm Beach for the West End after hanging out around Peanut Island for a good weather window. Then on through the Abacos. 60 days alotted. The Lucky Finn has all the little bugs out and is ready to go. Dee is pawned off to Ocala and a fishing buddy is going with. All are welcome to travel with us. Been there and done that about a dozen times so I know lots of fun places. Snorkeling and hunting sea food is my favoite past time. 😀
Come one come all.

I love the Abacos! Have a great time! Keep an eye out for an Irwin 38 center cockpit sloop named Charlie K and say hi to my friends Jon and Ginger if you come across them. Fun people. My wife is going out to join them in May, but I have to stay here. Grrrr...

Captain D:

This is our dream trip, but just as I was ready to semi retire and do things like this, my employer asked me to stay on and rebuild a department that has been leaking money... so plans postponed, but not forever. Have a great trip and keep us Land Lubbers up to speed regarding your adventures!

We also have this on the long range list of places to go. Keep an eye out for a 45 ft catamaran named Pretty Penny. The owners are good friends of ours - Bob and Penny.

Capt D,

Enjoy your trip to the Abacos and take good notes for those of us to follow. Hope all goes well!

I just got to ask, anyone know a good place to leave pickup and trailer from Fort Pierce on down to Palm Beach. My Garmin was left on with to much running and not plugged in. I lost the Name and address of the place we had last year. It was $100 a month and he dropped us off and picked us up. A good deal.

I think I posted on the Tugnuts, I'm going to look.

Darrel, try Harbortown Marina in Ft. Pierce. They have a very large outside fenced in storage area. 1925 Harbortown Dr. 772-466-7300
Taylor Creek Marina (across the creek from Harbortown) Inside & Outside storage 772-465-2663
Cracker Boy Boat Works (across the creek from Harbortown next to T. C. M.) Good reasonable boatyard 772-465-7031
You can get a customs sticker at the Ft. Pierce Int. Airport. Easy run down, outside or inside to Peanut Island. Try it outside to get your sea legs ready for crossing the Gulf Stream....

Thanks Henry, I will check into those. I did find a post I made last year on C-brats where i mentioned one I found in Palm Beach. For $100. Maybe still there.
