base plate for mast on R25 2008

The hinges on the mast support plate are broken. Anyone know where I can get a new base plate? Factory doesn't help, they say it's out of production.
Can you weld stainless? Maybe I can get the hinges welded on. Hate when you can't get parts.

Any competent fabrication shop should be able to weld it for you for under $100. Carry both the base and the mast to them so they make sure that it fits together when they're done. Very frustrating to mount it on the boat and then find out the mast won't mount. Coincidentally I just had work done on mine. Difference is that I had the bottom piece of the mast duplicated so I could mount a different/simpler mast.

I took off the mast on my R25 and replaced it with a radar mount. The mast plate is slightly bent but could be easily straightened out. Let me know if you want it.
