I am wondering how I can equalize my batteries?
I understand that if one equalizes flooded batteries every 20 cycles or so, it greatly increases their life and renews their charging capacity. As I understand it, battery equalization involves a controlled boiling of the electrolyte which disolves the lead sulfate from the plates. The lead sulfate gradually builds up on the plates during discharge forming a resistant coating on the plates which reduces the battery life.
