Quick question... If I turn off the isolation switch in the battery compartment will the battery charger or the solar panel still be able to deliver their charging current? Having a senior moment. Thanks.
 
Yes, you will still get charging current. The charging systems do not connect through the switches.
 
Depending on the setup you have, there may be a switch from the charger to the batteries. That needs to be on. There have been generations of wiring and charger types over time, so yours may not have that switch. If you do have it, it will most likely be in the battery lazzarette.
 
On my r27 the charging wires come via inline fuses to leads on the main switches that face the batteries thusly they charge when they are off.
