I will be replacing all 6 batteries (4 house,1 stater and 1 thruster) on my 2014 R31CB. Any tips and tricks of those that have ventured ahead of me on accessing them? Thanks Bob

Real PITA to reach. Had to hire younger more agile person.
I used Sam's club Duracell 31 size AGM, made by West Penn. Reasonable.
one caution threaded studs only 200CCA, had to use post adaptors for engine starting. MCA is 1000A.

I just did it myself last week on our R-31CB. I found the originals online and ordered all 6 batteries from Northern Arizona Wind and Sun. $941 total, free shipping. I’m a big guy 6’ 2” 250 lbs. and I didn’t think it was too bad. The trick to removal and replacement was to completely clear out the side storage lockers so you can lay down in them to work on your belly and on your side. The other trick is to use a power drill (preferably with a light) with an extension and a socket on the battery terminal bolt and use a box end on the nut. I found it helpful to diagram the wiring on a piece of paper and write a number on the wires going to that terminal with a permanent marker. There is no way I could memorize the attachments and think I would put them all back on the right terminal. I would have messed it up so I drew a simple map. Anyway, it’s doable. PM me if you want a pic of my battery wiring map. I couldn’t figure out how to post it. I hope this helps. Happy boating!
