My tug is pretty new to me and I am still trying to learn the tricks.
My question has to do with shore power and why my batteries do not seem to be charging when pluged in. Is there a switch somewhere that would initiate the trickle charging?

Are the ac breakers switched to shore power and the ac breaker to the inverter/charger on?

Ranger has different electrical wiring so all are not the same. If you have a combination inverter charger there may be a switch that needs to be on that connects the inverter/charger to the batteries. Also as stated above make sure there is a 110v breaker on. Also, if you do have the combination unit you need to make sure it is in the inverter charge mode.

And this need for multiple switches to be 'just so' is why I prefer separate charger and invertor units..
Merry Christmas to all - and to knotflying

What year 2015 do you have? If it is a 2015, you need three things. They are all on the wall immediately below the throttle. The master AC rotary switch set to "Shore Power." The little green indicator light should be lit. The AC breaker on (the one at the top of the AC/DC panelon the AC side). The battery charger breaker on (the one just beneath the AC breaker). Turn on either the port or starboard outlets and plug something in. If what you plugged in works, you have power to the panel and should be good to go. If not, time for some more trouble-shooting.

Thanks for the comments, will have a look and see if something is not turned on. The port ad starboard power outlets are functioning (christmas lights pluged in). I have a 25' 2016 model.
