Bennett pump model

What model of trim tab and hatch lifter pump is used on a 2014 C28? All I can read is Dual Purpose HPU. the fluid was very low and nothing raises or lowers after refilling. The pump barely makes a noise. Does this need bleeding? House battery voltage is good.

When you operate the hatch or tabs, does the fluid level in the pump go down?

I have a 2015 28 Cutwater that has a HL2351 dual cylinder hatch lift system. If you Google Bennett Marine HL2351 I believe you can find any info on parts, manuals, etc..

Just had a similar problem. Hatch would not close. The pump is not very loud, so unless you are right next to it you probably won't hear anything. I replaced the solenoid and now working. Pump has 3 solenoids, one for each trim tab and one for the hatch. System is self bleeding, just move tabs and hatch up and down a few times. If pump is working and nothing is moving then probably the solenoid is not opening and closing.
