Can I get a confirmation that there is only 1 HPU serving both trim tabs on a 2011 R29? I can find one accessible in the aft stbd lazerette and it looks like it has lines running to the port tabs.

On my 2012 R29 there is only one unit supplying both trim tabs and the engine hatch lift. That's why it's important to have both trim tabs fully up before trying to raise the hatch.

My 2010 R29 has one pump feeding both Trim Tabs.

How can I tell when the tabs are up? Still learning. By sound?

Bob,

We only use one pump per boat, they feed both trim tabs and engine hatch. You can hear the pump when the engine is not running but usually when I am running a boat and want the trim tabs all the way up I hold down the up button for about 10-15 seconds to ensure they are all the way up. You can also look at them from the edge of the platform to see where they are at if putting on a trailer or back onto dry stack. Hope this helps.

Thank you,
Kevin Lamont
