Hello all,

What's the best way to look at Ranger/Cutwater boats, when there are none around you?

We are river boaters in Minnesota on the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers. We have a 30' express cruiser that works well for our style of boating right now. I've been interested in Ranger/Cutwater boats for years, but it's been an online affair. There aren't really any boats or dealers anywhere near us.

We are most interested in something like a R29CB, R31CB or a Cutwater 30CB.

Bonus, we are headed to Seattle this October for a wedding. I know there are plenty out there. Does the factory do tours, or have boats we could look at? I'd really like to see these boats in person in some way.

Thanks all for any suggestions!

Call the factory, I'm sure they can give you a tour. Give me the dates you'll be in Seattle in October, and if I'm not working I would be happy to take you on a San Juan Island day cruise on my R29. It's a 2012, and the style is very different than the new 29s, but it's very similar to the new 31s.

We would be happy to show you our Cutwater 30s. We keep it in Sturgeon Bay but will be in Bayfield WI from the 28th of June till July 7th.

Manitowoc Marine is also a dealer for Cutwater boats and if you wanted to see almost every model there is Ranger Tug/Cutwater event in Charlevoix MI in early August where there will be about 30 boats at one venue.

I keep my boat just north of Seattle, at the Port of Edmonds. It's a 2019 R29 CB. You can PM me if you want to see the boat in October. The RT factory will I'm sure give you a tour .... just give them a call.

Thanks to all for the replies and the offers to show me your boats!

The wedding is October 19th, but we plan to arrive a few days before and do some looking around. Baz and Brad Owens, I may just take you up on your offers!

Godspeed, thank you for the offer as well. Bayfield!! I spent my youth on a number of sailboats growing up around that town and all over those islands. It is a magical place. We purchased our current boat when it was sitting on Madeline Island, and had it moved down to the St. Croix for now. It is our plan that in a few years we will move the boat up to Bayfield for a season or two. I'm very worried that I'll not want to move it back...ha! I'm guessing you've been there before, but if not I'd be happy to share thoughts of the area with you.

Thanks again all!
