I am hoping that someone has this filter installed on their CW30 and could send me a photo of the install location. This filter seems to have the largest carbon capacity so I would rather install this one. I know of at least one install (but my contact is down south enjoying better weather) and I would like to do it during this early part of the season. I have checked out the location where I think that it will fit but it does look at little tight. Any help is appreciated. I have checked the earlier threads on this topic but didn't read about any installs on a CW30.

I Installed a filter on my C30 CB LE, It was in the cave on the starboard side, about under the Shift. I removed a couple panels for access and accidentally cut into the toilet supply first. Otherwise easy install, about an hour. I have a couple pics but have no idea on how to post them. Did a great job curing the problem.

Getting a User Photo Album for your Ranger Tug is easy but it requires submitting a request from within the site structure.

1. Sign on to the site. You’re probably signed on if you’re reading this.

2. Select the User Control Panel link from the upper left corner of any page. Note: On the home page, this link is in your user menu in the upper right.

3. Click the Usergroups tab, then select the radio button next to the User Albums group. Scroll down, choose "Join selected" in the drop-down menu, and click the Submit button.

Once you do this, an email is automatically sent to the administrator (me). That message will trigger my ability to approve your request, and you'll receive an email indicating your membership in the User Albums group has been activated.

I'll watch for the message, and look forward to seeing your pictures.

Cheers,

Bruce

Thanks Phil, I would appreciate it if you could post the photos.

I didn't install that brand however the homemade filter I installed I located under the bathroom sink as the vent hose travels thru the sink cabinet. Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. I ended up installing the Big Orange vent filter in the thruster cave and it is working well. I needed to glue a piece of wood to mount it on but other than that it was an easy install. I have a few photos of the install in my album.

Shano, I am going to do the exact same thing you did on Monday. two questions, I assume the vent line is 5/8"? Two, Have you had any issues with the holding tank filling up and back filling the Big Orange?

Hi Ed, no issues with the holding tank backfilling the filter. I mounted it several inches higher than the tank and put a generous loop upward in the hose from the tank to the filter. I can’t remember the hose size now but I do believe it is the fairly standard 5/8. Make sure to use the fast set sealant, mine took 4 or 5 days to set. Good luck!

Yes used 4200 yesterday. Will finish today. The Admiral will be happy to reduce smells!
