Bimini canvas

I am looking at replacing the canvas on the Bimini of a Ranger Tug 29. I found this company on line and was wondering if anybody has used them.

King Canvas in Seattle quoted me $995 plus shipping for a new bimini for my 2011 R29. They provide canvas for the factory.

King Canvas shipped a full enclosure for my 27OB to me in Maine, I it was $60 in shipping 2 years ago. Just the bimini has to be cheaper to ship.

For my R31, I had a company in Fort Myers completely re-stitch the bimini about 9 months ago. The original thread used by King Canvas did not hold up at all well in the Florida sun. They did a great job. They also do complete custom bimini replacements. A couple of friends of mine were very pleased with a replacement done by this company.

I put a bimini on the command bridge of my c30 cb from this company https://www.coverquest.com/ I had it made with an aluminum frame. If I did it again I would spend the extra money for the stainless option,

I had mine redone as well after only 2 1/2 years. Stitching was coming apart. Company that did the work to repair said thread was inadequate and wrong stitch was used. So far so good.
Might want to discuss those points with whoever does your work.
