Dickinson bbq works great, strong mount lots heat and easy to clean. You need lots of height at the stern and a bar to grab getting in and out to the swim platform. You have to step up and over the rail and onto the seat to get back in. What ever frame you get ensure there are two supports either side of the stern roll up panel. It works best of the panel is attached to the rub rail because it gives some space between the seat and the window. Straight back and let the water run of the sides, you sit at the back and want to not have a stream of water running off the top there. Jeff, Doug and I spent a lot of time working out the design to optimize strength, security, comfort and utility. Ventilation and air flow is great. If the boat is to remain in the water most of the summer I would focus on that over ease of put up and take down, or ease of folding the frame. If you trailer all the time then a fast setup with a storage frame would be better. I have to store all my canvas panels on the berth when trailering. Putting up the canvas takes about 15 minutes. If it stayed up all summer go with the 40 mil plastic windows. They stay clearer yet still roll up. After two summers we found we only roll up the two small angled front panels and the rear panel. Only the two side panels and the rear panel have screens. The two front panels and the rear corner panels have only windows. Never had a heat problem! Also a light color canvas is cooler that a dark color.
