Where the corners of the cockpit overhang and the Bimini meet there are low spots on each side. When it rains water seeps at these points on to the cockpit floor.

No matter how taut the Bimini, the company who designed it claims it is a problem for most CWs and that it is resolved by putting silicone sealant along where the rope type seam connects. I have tried that to no avail. Btw we have never removed the Bimini and had it designed to disconnect from the frame, remain attached and rolled up/strapped to the roof. Anyone have a solution?

Thanks!

This is a common issue with the rope-like channels for attaching the canvas panels to on the edge of the cockpit hardtop.

I have the same type attachment for my full cockpit enclosure panels for my 2019 R-29 CB. If the panels at the top edge are not secured tightly together at the point where the zips start then water can seep through. I always ensure this attachment for the panels is squeezed together to avoid this water penetration. It works for the most part but the odd water drip still can persist. This zip attachment point is kind of loose as it is necessary for allowing the two panel's zips to be joined easily when installing them.

One way maybe to stop the dripping could be to squeeze in some material at this point with the hope of making it water tight.
