Bimini Pictures

Hi Folks, I'm in the process of making a bimini cover for SeaSaddle (R25SC) and have been unable to find a picture of the fore roofline, facing aft, where everything comes together. Mainly where the bimini goes over and around the two rails on either side of the dormer. Some appear to be zippered on just aft of the rails, I'm guessing this is to be able to remove these small panels in order to slide the cover into the plastic runners.

With the help from a good friend I will also be making the 1" tube struts and was wondering which hardware to go with, standard or heavy use.

Some detailed pictures of both of these would be a great help, thanks.

Well, hardware question has been looked after. I'm reposting this hoping that now that more people are out on their boats, someone will be able to help me with a few pictures. Thanks in advance.

Well, I just looked at my album and there is not a detailed shot of that...
On mine the tent shop has the canvas fold over top of the side railings and fasten down to snaps on the top of the cabin..

Thanks Howard, I am looking for a little more detail. Especially on the front panels, and how the canvas wraps the hoops from the inside. Might just have to wing it. Just got all the struts mounted, now for the fun part, thanks again.

Hi Lornec, thanks for the link, not what I was looking for but lots of good info there. Went ahead and cut the first piece, sewed the runner on and threw it up there to see if I could figure it out. The reason everyone else's appeared to go straight across at the front was because they go straight across at the front :!: On mine, the top vinyl slide on the dormer was mounted several inches ahead of the rails creating a backward angle. Remounted the slide and it all makes sense now, just have to spend more time repairing the old screw holes. Thanks for the help.

Coming into the marina on Thursday I saw a neighboring 25SC was in her slip. I went down and shot some detail pictures of the bimini mount. If you still need them, I hope they help. I sent them to your email address.
