Black water discharge solution for R27 OB

We live a long way from the nearest marina and expect to use our boat in some of the larger lakes on the Minnesota/Ontario border where facilities are limited. I was looking to create a solution to empty our black water tank into our septic system. I was able to leverage the fender on our Integrity trailer to hold a wooden bracket that holds a 1" OD piece of PVC pipe tight to the boat. I beveled the end of the PVC pipe and dipped it in Plasti-dip to ensure a water tight fit. The bracket also holds a PVC pipe for the sink drain that we'll use when boater homing.

How much of a taper did you put on the PVC pipe?

Here is a closer look. The PVC pipe has a thick wall and I tapered the last inch or so.
