Blue Sea dash panel....I didn’t know!

All 3 of the wiper blade arms, on our R29S, were parked in the middle of there respective windows and none would turn on. With my new R29 owners manual at hand I was able to find out what spade fuse to check and I found out they were fine. Then I saw on page 27 of the manual that the black rubbery buttons above the dash mounted 12V on/ off toggle switches are “resettable switch breakers”. Once I pressed each black reset breaker each wiper regained power and reparked in its normal stopped position. Maybe I’m the only person who did not know this but just in case there are others....now you know. Is there something you’ve learned about your boat that might benefit others?

Your lucky to have a manual, there is no manual for my boat yet, although I know Andrew has it partially completed. I was wondering what those black things were when I did my delivery sea trial and my dealer told me. It certainly is not obvious.
A question remains though, what caused yours to trip and need resetting??

The only thing that had changed in our 12V system, from the last time we used the boat had to do with our batteries. I disconnected them all as I took them out to clean and put dielectric grease on all of the terminals n posts. Not sure if this caused the mishap or not but glad to have the problem resolved.

Check with Mike Rissio, he had some issues and posted a while back with his wipers. May give you some insight.
